Aumet Raises $12 Million Series A to Scale AI-Powered Healthcare Procurement Infrastructure
Aumet has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Emkan Capital, with participation from Qatar Development Bank, SABAH Fund, and AAIC, alongside existing investors including Shorooq Partners and Right Side Capital Management, as well as strategic healthcare investors such as Cigalah Group and Salehiya Trading Company.
Founded in 2016 by Yasser Aql and Adel Haddad, Aumet develops an AI-driven operating system for healthcare procurement and supply chain management, targeting pharmacies, healthcare providers, and institutional healthcare systems across emerging markets.
The company operates one of the largest healthcare commerce and data platforms in the region, processing over $1 billion in cumulative transactions, handling more than 5 million annual transactions, and connecting over 12,000 pharmacies while integrating more than 1,000 pharmaceutical suppliers into its network.
Aumet’s product stack is structured into three layers: Pulse, a pharmacy-focused system combining inventory management with AI-powered procurement; Chain, designed for multi-branch pharmacy networks to optimize operational decision-making; and Enterprise, an advanced institutional procurement system deployed in major healthcare facilities, including Al-Bashir Hospital in Jordan and expanded across dozens of hospitals and medical centers in collaboration with public and private sector partners.
The company said the new funding will accelerate its AI capabilities, expand the Pulse platform globally, strengthen institutional adoption, and support entry into new regional and international markets, marking its evolution from a digital marketplace into a full-scale healthcare procurement infrastructure layer.
